Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Espresso

Brew a fresh shot of espresso using your preferred method (espresso machine, stovetop, or Aeropress). Make sure to use fresh, high-quality coffee beans for the best flavor.

  2. 2

    Measure Licor 43

Using a jigger or shot glass, measure out 1.5 ounces of Licor 43.

Combine and Serve

  1. 3

    Mix the Ingredients

In a heat-resistant glass or mug, pour the measured Licor 43 over the freshly brewed espresso.

  2. 4

    Optional Garnishing

If desired, add a cinnamon stick for flavor and garnish with a few whole coffee beans on top.

  3. 5

    Serve

Serve immediately while hot. The Carajillo can be enjoyed as is, or stirred gently to combine the flavors before drinking.
