Method

Prepare the Dressing

  1. 1

    Make the Caesar Dressing

In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and olive oil. Whisk together until smooth.

  2. 2

    Season the Dressing

Add salt and black pepper to the dressing mixture. Adjust seasoning to taste. Set aside.

Make the Croutons

  1. 3

    Prepare the Ciabatta

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the ciabatta bread into bite-sized cubes.

  2. 4

    Coat the Croutons

In a mixing bowl, toss the ciabatta cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, and salt until evenly coated.

  3. 5

    Bake the Croutons

Spread the coated bread cubes on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

Assemble the Salad

  1. 6

    Prepare the Salad Ingredients

Wash and chop the Romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Halve the cherry tomatoes.

  2. 7

    Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped Romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, and Grana Padano cheese.

  3. 8

    Add Dressing

Drizzle the prepared Caesar dressing over the salad and toss until all ingredients are well-coated.

  4. 9

    Top with Croutons

Add the homemade croutons on top of the salad. Serve immediately with additional Grana Padano if desired.
