Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Sauce

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion, carrot, and celery. Sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.

  2. 2

    Add Garlic and Beef

Add minced garlic and ground beef to the skillet. Cook until the beef is browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.

  3. 3

    Add Wine and Tomatoes

Pour in the red wine and let it simmer for a few minutes. Then add the crushed tomatoes and tomato paste. Stir well.

  4. 4

    Season the Sauce

Add dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper to the sauce. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. 5

    Cook the Linguine

While the sauce is simmering, cook the linguine in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  6. 6

    Combine and Serve

Toss the cooked linguine with the Bolognese sauce. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
