Preparing the Croutons

Make the Croutons
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the bread into small cubes and place them in a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with garlic powder and salt. Toss to coat evenly. Spread the bread cubes on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden and crispy. Set aside to cool.

Prepare the Caesar Dressing
In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, anchovy paste, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Assembling the Salad

Combine Ingredients
In a large salad bowl, chop the romaine lettuce and add it to the bowl. Drizzle with the Caesar dressing and toss until evenly coated. Add the croutons and sprinkle with grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese. Toss gently to combine.
