Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ham

Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern, about 1-inch apart.

  2. 2

    Make the Glaze

In a medium bowl, mix together the brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, ground cloves, ground cinnamon, and black pepper until well combined.

  3. 3

    Apply the Glaze

Place the ham in a roasting pan and brush half of the glaze mixture over the scored surface of the ham.

  4. 4

    Bake the Ham

Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil and bake for about 2 hours, basting with the remaining glaze every 30 minutes.

  5. 5

    Finish Cooking

Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes of baking to allow the ham to caramelize. Bake until the internal temperature reaches 140°F (60°C).

  6. 6

    Rest and Serve

Once cooked, remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 20 minutes before slicing and serving.
