Method

Cranberry Juice

  1. 1

    Prepare the Cranberries

Rinse the fresh cranberries thoroughly under cold water to remove any dirt.

  2. 2

    Cook the Cranberries

In a large pot, combine the rinsed cranberries and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

  3. 3

    Simmer and Mash

Once boiling, reduce the heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes until the cranberries burst and soften. Use a potato masher to mash the berries to release more juice.

  4. 4

    Strain the Juice

Remove the pot from heat and let it cool slightly. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a large bowl, pressing down to extract as much juice as possible.

  5. 5

    Sweeten and Serve

Stir in the sugar and lemon juice until dissolved. Chill in the refrigerator before serving.

Pineapple Juice

  1. 6

    Peel and Cut the Pineapple

Remove the skin from the fresh pineapple and cut it into chunks, discarding the core.

  2. 7

    Blend the Pineapple

In a blender, add the pineapple chunks and water. Blend until smooth.

  3. 8

    Strain the Juice

Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a bowl, pressing to extract as much juice as possible.

  4. 9

    Sweeten and Serve

Add sugar to the strained juice and stir until dissolved. Serve chilled.

Tomato Juice

  1. 10

    Prepare the Tomatoes

Wash the fresh tomatoes under cold water and remove any stems.

  2. 11

    Blend the Tomatoes

Cut the tomatoes in half and place them in a blender. Add 1 cup of water and blend until smooth.

  3. 12

    Strain the Juice

Pour the blended tomato mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl to separate the juice from the pulp.

  4. 13

    Season and Serve

Stir in the salt, black pepper, and celery salt. Chill before serving.
