Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Wash and Prepare Potato Leaves

Thoroughly wash the potato leaves under running water to remove any dirt or impurities. Remove any tough stems and chop the leaves roughly.

  2. 2

    Chop Vegetables

Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Dice the tomato.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Heat Palm Oil

In a medium-sized pot, heat the palm oil over medium heat until it starts to shimmer.

  2. 4

    Sauté Onions and Garlic

Add the chopped onion and garlic to the heated palm oil. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes, or until the onions are translucent.

  3. 5

    Add Tomato

Stir in the diced tomato and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the tomato softens.

  4. 6

    Incorporate Potato Leaves

Add the chopped potato leaves to the pot and stir well. Cook for about 5 minutes, allowing the leaves to wilt.

  5. 7

    Season the Sauce

Sprinkle in the salt, black pepper, chili powder, thyme, and crumble the bouillon cube. Stir everything together and let it simmer for an additional 5-7 minutes.
