1. Cook the Sushi Rice

Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook the rice according to the package instructions. Once cooked, let it cool slightly and mix with rice vinegar.

2. Prepare the Vegetables

Slice the avocado and cucumber into thin strips.

3. Make Sushi Rolls

Place a nori sheet on a bamboo mat. Spread a thin layer of sushi rice on top, leaving an inch at the top edge. Lay slices of salmon, tuna, avocado, and cucumber in the center. Roll the mat away from you, pressing firmly to form a tight roll. Seal the edge with a little water.

4. Slice the Sushi

Using a sharp knife, slice the sushi roll into bite-sized pieces.

5. Prepare Sashimi

Slice the fresh salmon and tuna fillets into thin pieces for sashimi.

6. Serve

Arrange the sushi rolls and sashimi on a platter. Serve with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger on the side.
