Preparation of Ingredients

    Prepare the Paneer

    Cut the paneer into cubes and set aside.

    Chop Vegetables

    Finely chop the tomatoes, onion, and cilantro. Slit the green chili.

Cooking the Gravy

    Heat Oil

    In a pan, heat the oil over medium heat.

    Sauté Onions

    Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.

    Add Ginger-Garlic Paste

    Mix in the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

    Add Tomatoes and Spices

    Add the chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin seeds, green chili, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and the oil starts to separate.

    Add Peas and Paneer

    Stir in the green peas and paneer cubes. Cook for a few minutes until the peas are tender.

    Finish with Garam Masala

    Sprinkle garam masala on top and mix well. Cook for another minute.

Making the Creamy Sauce

    Prepare the Creamy Sauce

    In a small saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the heavy cream. Cook on low heat for a few minutes until warmed through.

Serving

    Serve the Matar Paneer

    Transfer the Matar Paneer to a serving dish. Drizzle the creamy sauce on top and garnish with chopped cilantro. Serve hot with naan or rice.
