Marinating the Chicken

Prepare the Marinade
In a mixing bowl, combine the plain yogurt, minced garlic, minced ginger, lemon juice, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully combined.

Marinate the Chicken
Add the cubed boneless chicken to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight for maximum flavor.

Prepare Skewers
If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning. If using metal skewers, they can be used directly.

Assemble the Kebabs
Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.

Serve
Remove the kebabs from the skewers and serve hot with mint chutney or your favorite dipping sauce.
