Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, combine minced garlic, house adobo seasoning, fresh lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Add the flank steak and coat it well with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Remove the steak from the marinade and let it come to room temperature. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest for 10 minutes.

  3. 3

    Shred the Steak

After resting, shred the steak using two forks. Set aside.

  4. 4

    Crisp the Steak

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the shredded steak in a single layer and cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. 5

    Sauté the Onions

In another pan, sauté the sliced red onions in a little bit of oil until they are soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the crispy shredded steak topped with the sautéed red onions. Enjoy!
