Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Steak

In a bowl, marinate the thinly sliced flank steak with olive oil, minced garlic, lime juice, salt, and black pepper for at least 30 minutes.

2

Fry the Potatoes

Peel and julienne the potatoes into thin strips. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the potato strips until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels and season with salt.

3

Sauté the Onions

In the same pan, add a little more olive oil if necessary and sauté sliced onions until they are soft and caramelized.

4

Cook the Steak

In the same pan, cook the marinated steak over medium-high heat for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired doneness.

5

Assemble the Sandwich

Slice the Cuban bread open, layer with sautéed onions, cooked steak, crispy potatoes, lettuce, and slices of tomato. Close the sandwich and press down gently.

6

Serve

Cut the sandwich in half and serve immediately with extra crispy potatoes on the side.
