Preparation

1

Prepare the Steak

Remove the ribeye steaks from the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.

2

Season the Steaks

Rub the olive oil over both sides of the steaks. Then, generously season each side with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and rosemary.

Grilling

3

Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat, about 450-500°F (232-260°C).

4

Grill the Steaks

Place the seasoned ribeye steaks on the grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on the first side without moving them. This will create a nice sear.

5

Flip the Steaks

Flip the steaks and grill for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare, or longer if you prefer a different doneness level.

6

Check for Doneness

Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. For medium-rare, aim for 130-135°F (54-57°C).

Resting and Serving

7

Rest the Steaks

Once cooked to your desired doneness, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5-10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute.

8

Serve

Slice the ribeye steak against the grain and serve immediately. Enjoy your juicy ribeye grilled to perfection!
