Method
Preparation
Prepare the Chicken Wings
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, and baking powder. Toss until evenly coated.
Cooking
Bake the Wings
Place the coated chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they are spaced out evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.
Make the Buffalo Sauce
While the wings are baking, melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Once melted, add the hot sauce, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well to combine and simmer for 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened.
Serving
Toss the Wings
Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce over the wings and toss until they are thoroughly coated.
Serve
Serve the buffalo wings hot with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing on the side for dipping.
