Method

Grilling Salmon

1

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).

2

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and brush both sides with olive oil.

3

Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides.

4

Place the salmon fillets on the grill, skin-side down, and grill for about 6-8 minutes.

5

Flip the salmon fillets carefully using a spatula and grill for another 4-6 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

6

Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Making Lemon Butter Sauce

7

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.

8

Add minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

9

Stir in the fresh lemon juice and lemon zest, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

10

Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.

11

Serve the lemon butter sauce warm over the grilled salmon.
