Fried String Cheese Ingredients
Method
Fried String Cheese Directions
- 1
Prepare the Cheese
Take the string cheese sticks and remove them from their packaging. Pat them dry with a paper towel to ensure they are not wet.

- 3
Bread the Cheese
Take each string cheese stick and first coat it in the flour, shaking off any excess. Then dip it in the beaten eggs, making sure it is fully coated. Finally, roll the cheese stick in the bread crumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the crumbs.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large, heavy-bottomed pot or deep skillet, pour in the vegetable oil. Heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). You can check the temperature by dropping a small piece of bread into the oil; if it sizzles and browns quickly, the oil is ready.
- 5
Fry the Cheese
Carefully add the breaded string cheese sticks to the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pot. Fry them for about 2-3 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to remove them from the oil and drain them on a plate lined with paper towels.
- 6
Serve
Serve the fried string cheese hot with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
