Marinade and Chicken

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, ginger paste, garlic paste, tandoori masala, oil, salt, red chili powder, and garam masala. Mix well until fully integrated.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Chicken

Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Oven or Grill

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) or prepare your grill for medium-high heat.

  4. 4

    Cook the Chicken

Place the marinated chicken pieces on a baking tray lined with foil or directly on the grill. If using an oven, bake for 30-40 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and juices run clear (internal temperature should reach 75°C/165°F). If using a grill, cook on each side for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally.

  5. 5

    Garnish and Serve

Once cooked, remove the chicken from the oven or grill, and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
