Marination and Grilling

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare Paneer

Cut the paneer into 1-inch cubes.

  2. 2

    Marinate Paneer

In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well until all the spices are evenly distributed. Add the cubed paneer and stir gently to coat. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (overnight for best results).

  3. 3

    Prepare Vegetables

While the paneer is marinating, cut the bell peppers and onion into 1-inch cubes.

  4. 4

    Assemble Skewers

Once the paneer has marinated, remove it from the refrigerator. Take a skewer and alternate threading the marinated paneer, bell pepper, and onion pieces until the skewer is filled. Repeat this for all skewers.

  5. 5

    Preheat Grill

Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Brush the grill grate with olive oil to prevent sticking.

  6. 6

    Grill Skewers

Place the assembled skewers on the grill. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the paneer is golden and the vegetables are slightly charred.

  7. 7

    Serve

Remove skewers from the grill and allow them to cool slightly before serving. Serve hot with mint chutney or your choice of dip.
