Preparation Steps
- 1
Prepare the Lamb Mixture
In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, minced ginger, and chopped green chili. Use your hands to mix them thoroughly until well combined.
- 2
Add Spices and Herbs
Add the chopped coriander leaves, garam masala, cumin powder, salt, and black pepper powder to the lamb mixture. Again, mix everything very well until the spices are evenly distributed throughout the meat.
- 3
Shape the Kababs
Take a handful of the mixture and shape it around the skewers into long, cylindrical forms. Make sure to press the meat firmly onto the skewers to ensure they hold their shape while cooking.
- 4
Preheat the Grill or Oven
If using a grill, preheat it to medium-high heat. If using an oven, preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F).
- 5
Cook the Kababs
Place the skewers on the preheated grill or on a baking tray if using an oven. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the kababs are cooked through and browned on all sides.
- 6
Serve
Remove the kababs from the skewers and serve hot. Enjoy with mint chutney or yogurt sauce.
