Veggie Platter Ingredients

Method

Preparation Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare Tofu

Press the firm tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut into thin strips.

  2. 2

    Make Yasai Tofu Maki

Place a nori sheet on a bamboo mat. Spread a thin layer of sushi rice (cooked and cooled rice mixed with rice vinegar) on the nori. Lay tofu strips, carrot, and cucumber in a line. Roll tightly and slice into pieces.

  3. 3

    Prepare Rabbit Rolls

Use the same method as the Yasai Tofu Maki, substituting vegetables like shredded carrots and cucumber for the filling. Roll into tight cylinders and slice.

  4. 4

    Make Vegi-Ten Rolls

Follow the same rolling method, filling with tempura vegetables along with rice, and slice into bite-sized pieces.

  5. 5

    Assemble Avokyu Rolls

Spread sushi rice on nori, place avocado slices in the center, roll tightly, and cut into rolls.

  6. 6

    Prepare Kappa Maki

Spread rice on nori, add cucumber strips, roll tightly, and slice.

  7. 7

    Prepare Edamame

Boil edamame in salted water for 5 minutes, drain, and serve warm.

  8. 8

    Serve

Arrange all rolls on a platter with edamame. Serve with soy sauce and wasabi on the side.
