Marinade and Ribs
Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, and sesame oil. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- 2
Marinate the Ribs
Place the baby back ribs in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the ribs, ensuring they are fully coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- 3
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- 4
Bake the Ribs
Remove the ribs from the marinade and place them on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Reserve the marinade for basting. Cover the ribs with another piece of aluminum foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until tender.
- 5
Baste and Finish
During the last 30 minutes of baking, uncover the ribs and baste with the reserved marinade every 10 minutes. This will give them a nice glaze.
- 6
Serve
Once done, remove the ribs from the oven, let them rest for a few minutes, then slice between the bones. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
