Preparation Steps

1. Prepare the Dashi

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. If using dashi powder, dissolve it in the boiling water. If using vegetable broth, simply add it to the pot.

2. Add Miso Paste

Reduce the heat to low and take a small amount of the hot broth. Mix it with the miso paste in a separate bowl until smooth, then return it to the pot. Stir well to combine.

3. Add Tofu and Seaweed

Gently add the cubed tofu and rehydrated seaweed to the pot. Allow it to warm through for about 3-5 minutes.

4. Finish with Green Onions

Just before serving, stir in the sliced green onions. Taste and add gluten-free soy sauce if desired.

5. Serve

Ladle the soup into bowls and enjoy hot.
