Fresh Sake Salmon Ingredients

Method

Fresh Sake Salmon Directions

  1. 1

    Marinate the Salmon

In a bowl, mix the sake, soy sauce, mirin, grated ginger, minced garlic, and sesame oil. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 1-2 hours.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Grill or Pan

Preheat a grill or non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grates or pan to prevent sticking.

  3. 3

    Cook the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off. Place the salmon on the grill or pan skin-side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  4. 4

    Garnish and Serve

Once cooked, transfer the salmon to a serving platter. Garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
