Preparation

  1. 1

    Chop the Vegetables

Wash and chop the zucchini, bell pepper, carrot, broccoli, and green beans into bite-sized pieces. Halve the cherry tomatoes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the chopped vegetables and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until tender but still crisp.

  2. 4

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Pour in some of the reserved pasta water (start with 1/4 cup) to help create a light sauce. Mix well to combine all ingredients.

  3. 5

    Season and Serve

Season the primavera with salt, black pepper, and chopped fresh basil. Toss everything together, adjust the seasoning if needed, and serve hot with a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese on top.
