Ice Cream Preparation
Mix Ice Cream Base
In a large mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk together until the sugar is fully dissolved.
Add Flavoring
Choose your flavoring ingredient of the day (e.g., pureed strawberries, chocolate syrup) and fold it into the ice cream base mixture until evenly combined.
Chill Mixture
Cover the mixture and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until it is well chilled.
Churn
Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
Freeze
Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
