Method

Preparation

  1. 1

Make the Earl Grey Honey Syrup

In a small saucepan, combine equal parts water and honey (for example, 1 cup each) with 2-3 tea bags of Earl Grey. Heat gently until honey is dissolved and steep the tea for about 10 minutes. Remove the tea bags and let cool. Store in a sealed jar in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Mixing the Drink

  1. 2

    Combine Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add 1.5 oz of Casamigos Reposado, 0.5 oz of Ramazotti Rose, 0.5 oz of Drumshanbo Sardinia Citrus gin, 0.75 oz of fresh lemon juice, 0.5 oz of Apertivo, 0.5 oz of fresh lime juice, and 0.5 oz of Earl Grey honey syrup.

  2. 3

    Shake

Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

  3. 4

    Strain

Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice.

  4. 5

    Top with Club Soda

Add a splash of club soda (about 1 oz) on top of the drink for a refreshing fizz.

Garnishing

  1. 6

    Garnish the Drink

Garnish with a lime wedge and a slice of pink grapefruit on the rim of the glass.
