Method

Cake Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Cake

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking dish.

  2. 2

In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.

  3. 3

In another bowl, beat the eggs and add the vanilla extract and milk. Mix until combined.

  4. 4

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.

  5. 5

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.

  6. 6

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  7. 7

    Prepare the Milk Mixture

While the cake is baking, prepare the milk mixture.

  8. 8

In a bowl, combine condensed milk (1 can), evaporated milk (1 can), and whole milk (1 cup). Whisk until well blended.

  9. 9

    Soak the Cake

Once the cake is baked and slightly cooled, poke holes all over the top with a fork.

  10. 10

Slowly pour the milk mixture over the cake, allowing it to soak in. Let the cake cool completely.

  11. 11

    Serve

Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving for best results. Serve and enjoy!
