Cheesecake Ingredients

Method

Cheesecake Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Crust

Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Mix until well combined, then press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.

  2. 2

    Make the Filling

In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the granulated sugar and continue to beat until well combined. Add the sour cream, vanilla extract, and eggs, one at a time, mixing until just combined.

  3. 3

    Combine and Bake

Pour the cheesecake filling over the prepared crust in the springform pan. Bake in the preheated oven for about 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set and only slightly jiggly.

  4. 4

    Cool and Serve

Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool inside for about an hour. Then, remove it from the oven and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving. Once chilled, dust with powdered sugar before slicing and serving.
