Method

Preparation of Vegetables

  1. 1

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and chop all vegetables as specified. Ensure that broccoli is cut into small florets, carrots are sliced thinly, bell pepper is sliced into strips, and snap peas are ready to use.

Making Teriyaki Sauce

  1. 2

    Combine Sauce Ingredients

In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, cornstarch, and water until well combined. Set aside.

Cooking the Dish

  1. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Stir-fry the Vegetables

Add the prepared vegetables (broccoli, carrot, bell pepper, snap peas, and green onion) to the skillet and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.

  3. 5

    Add Teriyaki Sauce

Pour the prepared teriyaki sauce over the stir-fried vegetables. Stir well to coat all the vegetables with the sauce and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

  4. 6

    Serve

Remove from heat and serve the vegetable teriyaki hot over steamed rice or noodles.
