Preparation of Seaweed

Soak the Dried Seaweed
Place the dried seaweed in a bowl and cover it with 500ml of water. Let it soak for about 20 minutes or until it has fully rehydrated and expanded.

Drain and Rinse
Once the seaweed has rehydrated, drain it in a colander and rinse it under cold water to remove any excess salt or impurities.
Flavoring the Seaweed

Prepare the Dressing
In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, sugar, salt, and red pepper flakes. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.

Combine Seaweed and Dressing
In a larger bowl, add the drained seaweed and pour the dressing over it. Toss gently until the seaweed is evenly coated.

Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the seaweed salad for added flavor and texture.
