Juicing
- 1
Prepare the Oranges
Wash the fresh oranges thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt or pesticides.
- 2
Cut the Oranges
Using a sharp knife, cut each orange in half crosswise.
- 3
Juicing
Using a citrus juicer or handheld juicer, squeeze each half of the orange to extract the juice. If you don't have a juicer, you can use your hands to squeeze out the juice.
- 4
Strain the Juice (Optional)
If you prefer pulp-free juice, pour the juice through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a pitcher to filter out the pulp.
- 5
Serve
Pour the freshly squeezed orange juice into glasses and serve immediately. Optionally, you can chill the juice in the refrigerator before serving.
