Steak Ingredients

Method

Preparation

1

Season the Steaks

Pat the rib eye steaks dry with paper towels. This helps to achieve a nice sear when grilling. Season both sides of the steaks generously with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

2

Prepare the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450°F/232°C). Make sure the grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.

Grilling

3

Sear the Steaks

Drizzle olive oil over the steaks. Place the seasoned rib eye steaks on the hot grill. Sear for about 4-5 minutes on one side without moving them. This will create a nice crust.

4

Flip and Cook

Once the first side is well seared, flip the steaks using tongs. Add the fresh rosemary sprigs on top of the steaks for added flavor. Cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare, or adjust the time to your desired doneness.

Resting and Serving

5

Rest the Steaks

Remove the steaks from the grill and transfer them to a cutting board. Cover loosely with aluminum foil and let them rest for about 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute.

6

Slice and Serve

After resting, slice the rib eye steaks against the grain and serve immediately. Enjoy!
