Pasta
Chicken
Alfredo Sauce
Method
Pasta Preparation
Cook the Fettuccine
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 10-12 minutes. Drain the pasta and set aside.
Chicken Preparation
Grill the Chicken
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Alfredo Sauce Preparation
Make the Alfredo Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Reduce heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Continue to stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth, about 3-5 minutes.
Combining Ingredients
Combine Pasta and Sauce
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked fettuccine pasta and the Alfredo sauce. Toss until the pasta is evenly coated.
Serve
Slice the grilled chicken and serve it on top of the pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley for added flavor and presentation.
