Method
Preparation
- 1
Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade. Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Grilling
- 2
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F or 190°C).
- 3
Grill the Chicken
Remove the marinated chicken breasts from the refrigerator. Place them on the preheated grill. Cook for approximately 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the juices run clear.
Assembling the Burger
- 4
Prepare the Buns
While the chicken is grilling, slice the burger buns in half. Optionally, toast the buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden.
- 5
Assemble the Burger
Spread 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Place a grilled chicken breast on top, followed by 2 lettuce leaves. Top with the other half of the bun.
