Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Garlic Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add minced garlic cloves (you can mince them using a garlic press or finely chop them with a knife) and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

  3. 3

    Mix Ingredients

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Bread

Slice the French baguette in half lengthwise, allowing for easy spreading of the garlic butter.

Baking

  1. 5

    Spread Garlic Butter

Using a butter knife, generously spread the garlic butter mixture over the cut sides of the baguette.

  2. 6

    Bake the Bread

Place the prepared baguette halves on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy.

  3. 7

    Serve

Remove from the oven, let cool for a minute, then slice into pieces and serve warm.
