Brownie Preparation
- 1
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 2
Melt Butter
In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- 3
Mix Sugars
In a large mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar and brown sugar. Pour the melted butter over the sugars and mix until well combined.
- 4
Add Eggs and Vanilla
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- 5
Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- 6
Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to over mix.
- 7
Add Chocolate Chips
Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips to the brownie batter.

Bake Brownies
Pour the brownie batter into a greased or parchment-lined 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
