Method

For the Beef Sliders

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the beef mixture into 12 equal portions and shape them into patties. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Place the patties on the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach the desired doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Sliders

Slice the mini buns in half. On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, a cooked beef patty, a slice of tomato (sliced), and a slice of pickle. Add ketchup and mustard to taste, then top with the other half of the bun.

For the Fries

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the large potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to create fries.

  2. 6

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  3. 7

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per batch.

  4. 8

    Drain and Season

Remove the fries from the oil and drain on paper towels. While still hot, sprinkle with salt to taste.
