Toppings

Method

Preparing the Beef Patty

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Use your hands to mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

  2. 2

    Shape the Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about ¾ inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up during cooking.

Cooking the Patties

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Pan

Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. If using a skillet, add a little oil to prevent sticking.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Once hot, place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 5

    Prepare the Tomato

While the patties are cooking, wash the tomato and slice it into thin slices.

  2. 6

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each burger bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked beef patty, a slice of tomato, and top it off with house sauce. Place the top half of the bun on each burger.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve the Burger

Serve the burgers immediately while hot, with extra house sauce on the side if desired.
