Prepare the Chicken Wings
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and olive oil. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.

Marinate
Let the wings marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature or refrigerate for up to 2 hours for better flavor.

Make the BBQ Sauce
In a medium saucepan, combine ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.

Simmer the Sauce
Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened. Remove from heat and set aside.
Cooking the Wings

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.

Arrange the marinated chicken wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and cooked through.
