Prepare the Filling
In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent.

Add ground lamb and ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.

Stir in diced carrots, frozen peas, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 10 minutes, until the vegetables are tender.

Assemble the Pie
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pour the meat and vegetable mixture into a greased baking dish.

Spread the mashed potatoes evenly over the top of the meat mixture, smoothing with a spatula.

Add Cheese
Sprinkle shredded smoked Gouda cheese on top of the mashed potatoes.

Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
