Seared Tuna Ingredients
Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Tuna
Pat the tuna steaks dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with sea salt and black pepper.
- 2
Marinate the Tuna
In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, olive oil, and lime juice. Place the seasoned tuna steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let marinate for 15-30 minutes.
- 3
Sear the Tuna
Heat a non-stick skillet over high heat. Remove tuna from marinade (reserve marinade) and sprinkle sesame seeds on both sides of the steaks. Add a little oil to the pan if needed, then sear the tuna for about 1-2 minutes on each side for rare (adjust time for desired doneness).
- 4
Serve
Slice the seared tuna into thin slices. Drizzle with the reserved marinade and serve immediately.
