Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

Form the Angus beef into two equal-sized patties, each weighing 1/4 pound. Season with salt and pepper.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of American cheese on each patty to melt.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the patties are cooking, wash and slice the lettuce, tomato, and red onion. Set aside.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the brioche rolls if desired. On the bottom half of each roll, layer lettuce, a slice of tomato, the first cheese-topped patty, a slice of red onion, the second cheese-topped patty, a tablespoon of max sauce, and then the top half of the roll.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
