Method
Instructions
- 1
Prepare Gelatin
In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over 2 tablespoons of cold water and let it sit for about 5 minutes until softened.
- 2
Heat Cream Mixture
In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, and malted milk powder. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar and malted milk powder are dissolved and the mixture is warm but not boiling.
- 3
Incorporate Gelatin
Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in the softened gelatin until completely dissolved, then add vanilla extract. Mix well.
- 4
Pour and Chill
Pour the mixture into individual serving cups or ramekins. Allow to cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
- 5
Serve
Once set, serve chilled. Optionally, garnish with crushed malted milk balls or whipped cream.
