In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add linguini and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil (for tomato sauce) or butter (for cream sauce) over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add shrimp, mussels, and squid. Cook until shrimp are pink and mussels open, about 5-7 minutes.

For tomato sauce: Add crushed tomatoes, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Simmer for 10 minutes. For cream sauce: Add heavy cream, Parmesan, garlic, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes.

Add the cooked linguini to the skillet with the seafood and sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce.
