Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Finely chop the onion and grate the zucchini. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Mix the Meat Mixture

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, grated zucchini, salt, black pepper, egg, and breadcrumbs. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.

  3. 3

    Shape the Meatballs

Wet your hands slightly and shape the mixture into meatballs, about the size of a golf ball.

  4. 4

    Cook the Tefteli

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs in batches, cooking until they are browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.

  5. 5

    Simmer

Once browned, add a cup of water to the skillet, cover, and let simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes until cooked through.
