Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Flounder

Preheat your broiler to high. Rinse the whole flounder under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels. Place it on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  2. 2

    Season the Fish

In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Brush this mixture generously onto both sides of the flounder.

  3. 3

    Broil the Fish

Place the baking sheet under the broiler. Broil the flounder for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the flesh is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

  4. 4

    Serve

Remove the flounder from the oven. Transfer to a serving platter, garnish with lemon slices and additional parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
