Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Hand-Cut Fries

Wash and cut potatoes into fries. Deep fry or bake until golden brown. Season with salt and set aside.

  2. 2

    Make the Patties

Divide ground beef into 2 equal portions (4 oz each) and form into balls. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Place the beef balls on the skillet and smash them down with a spatula to form patties. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

Flip the patties and place a slice of yellow American cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted.

  4. 4

    Fry the Eggs

In a separate skillet, fry the eggs sunny-side up or to your liking, about 2-3 minutes.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the burger buns lightly. On the bottom bun, layer shredded lettuce, a tomato slice, the cheese-topped patty, bacon jam, the fried egg, crispy onions, pickles, and jalapeño aioli. Top with the other half of the bun.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the assembled burger with a side of hand-cut fries.
