Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Peel and chop the potatoes into chunks. Boil them in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 2

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add minced garlic, butter, and milk. Mash until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  3. 3

    Cook the Ribeye Steak

Season the ribeye steak with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or to your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Sauté the Green Beans

In the same skillet, add a little bit of oil if needed and sauté the green beans for about 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp. Season with salt and pepper.

  5. 5

    Prepare Crispy Shoestring Onions

Thinly slice the onion and soak in cold water for 30 minutes. Drain and pat dry. Dredge in flour, then fry in hot oil until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.

  6. 6

    Plate the Dish

Serve the ribeye steak alongside the garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed green beans, topped with crispy shoestring onions.
