Method

Prepare Chicken

  1. 1

    Marinate Chicken

In a small bowl, mix olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Coat the chicken breasts with this mixture and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill Chicken

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Prepare Salad

  1. 3

    Chop Ingredients

While the chicken is grilling, chop the tomatoes, red onion, cucumbers, and slice the bacon into small pieces. You can also cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy if not pre-cooked.

  2. 4

    Assemble Salad

In a large bowl, place the mixed greens as the base. Top with chopped tomatoes, red onion, cheddar cheese, cucumbers, and bacon.

Combine and Serve

  1. 5

    Add Chicken

Slice the grilled chicken into strips and place it on top of the salad.

  2. 6

    Dress and Serve

Drizzle balsamic vinaigrette over the salad. Toss gently to combine and serve immediately.
