Method

Pork Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork

Trim any excess fat from the pork loin and slice it into 1/2-inch thick pieces.

  2. 2

    Season the Pork

In a bowl, season the pork slices with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Set aside to marinate for about 15 minutes.

  3. 3

    Breading Station

Set up a breading station with three separate bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with bread crumbs.

  4. 4

    Bread the Pork

Dredge each pork slice in flour, dip it into the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with bread crumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

  5. 5

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  6. 6

    Fry the Pork

Carefully place the breaded pork slices into the hot oil, frying in batches for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Sandwich Assembly

  1. 7

    Prepare the Buns

Toast the buns lightly in the same skillet for about 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

  2. 8

    Assemble the Sandwich

Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun. Place a fried pork slice on top, followed by a lettuce leaf and a slice of tomato. Top with the other half of the bun.

  3. 9

    Serve

Serve the fried pork sandwiches immediately with your choice of sides.
